How we helped:
The Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) of NATO asked Professor John Louth to lead a review into the management practices of its Headquarters in Mons. Working on site, Professor Louth analysed and assessed all business practices over a three-month period. Reporting to the Deputy Supreme Commander, John was able to make a number of recommendations relating to future programme, capability and risk management, leaving the Headquarters with a more effective Board structure and supporting functions.
Dr Henrik Heidenkamp, the programme commissioner at Mons, said, “This was a really important review that was enacted seamlessly by Professor Louth and colleagues.”
We believe that risk management isn’t just about managing risks; it's about enhancing performance by embedding risk-thinking into business decisions.
