Provided specialist risk management support to the bid phase of the de-fuel and decommission of the Vulcan Shore-based Nuclear Test Facility in Dounreay. We have led engagements with the MOD assurance community on behalf of Rolls-Royce and provided expertise on adherence to Single Source Regulations Office (SSRO) conditions. We have also delivered schedule risk analysis training to facilitate effective knowledge transfer to the project team during our engagements.

William Foulds

BEng, MSc, CFIRM - Owner & Director

Will is the founder and Managing Director of Redstone Risk. He has 17 years’ experience architecting and delivering risk management solutions to clients across the world at the highest level. As a highly-skilled risk analysis practitioner with a deep understanding of the UK Defence and Energy domains, he has established himself as a valued and trusted advisor to many senior leadership teams. Will is passionate about pushing the boundaries of risk management by harnessing modern data visualisation techniques to create simple and truly engaging information out of traditionally complex and uninspiring risk data.

As fellow of the Institute of Risk Management, qualified with a distinction in MSc risk management, and a former external examiner for Glasgow Caledonian University, he is uniquely positioned to speak with authority on all aspects of risk management.

Will is also a trustee of the Riviera Education Trust, a charitable organisation dedicated to improving educational outcomes for local children.

Gareth Day

BA (Hons), MSc, LL.Dip, APMP - Consultant

Gareth graduated from the University of Bath with a MSc in Management before starting his risk management career with Babcock International Group. Gareth spent 3 years with Babcock providing expert risk and project controls consultancy services to customers in the UK defence and nuclear sectors. In 2018 Gareth joined Redstone Risk, and now has over 6 years' experience supporting major projects, programmes and bids of various sizes and complexities and is a valued advisor to a number of senior management teams.

After completing a BSc in Mathematics from Bristol University, Cai has chosen to start his professional career at Redstone Risk, to help provide risk analytics services to customers across the defence and energy sectors. Cai is excited to engage with our customers and apply his interests in statistics, probability and programming, to help them solve their current and future risk-related challenges.
